How can i make my room look more like summer?

Posted by: 3 Putt In: Backyard Putting Greens

OK so i have always had problems with my room always wanting to change it because i never liked it. When i mean change it, not like repaint, or get anything brand new, just like rearrange my furniture and take some pictures off my wall. But I’m getting new bedding and my walls are blue (medium blue). The bedding is blue and yellow and green and lots of summer colors. How can i make my room more "summertime" ish? Like what can i add? I was thinking of putting like string lights around my bed. Like these (copy and paste) and there the second string lights

What else can i do to make it more like summerish? Thanks :)
I’m 13
i can’t paint because my parents wont let me. :( i would if i could

I’m not sure why you’re against painting, it is the #1 quick and cheap way to transform a room. I think the medium blue walls might make the room look too dark for a summer theme. Just a thought.

Mirrors and white accessories. Keep it clean–get rid of clutter on countertops, make sure whatever is hanging on walls is neatly organized, clean the floor. Box up "stuff" that you have laying around and if you haven’t used it in 6 months, donate it to a charity. Can you paint anything white? That screams summer to me and will give the item a cleaner look.

Good luck! It’s always exciting to redecorate.

well, you can put the string lights, but the best thing to do to make it look more summerish, would be to paint it either yellow or green. You can also frame pictures of flowers, and stuff, and get some diffdrent throw pillows the same color. You can also change out the curtains, to diffrent colorss to match itt! :)
