How do I make a putting green with carpet?

Going inside? Everything I’ve seen like that is usually just a box with a slant (might need a miter saw or really steady hands if you want to build the box), a cup (I’d use a small section of PVC pipe) placed in the middle of the top of the box, and then some green indoor/outdoor carpet. If you want to be able to move it, I’d just leave the carpet to itself, but if it’s more permanent, you could either tack it down or glue the carpet to some thin boards to keep it from bunching up.
